Set It Up in 5 Easy Steps

You're Swapping One Hose
Inside your toilet tank there's a thin hose. You'll take it out and put the dispenser in its place. That's the whole job.

Check You Have Everything
- 1Dispenser. The cleaner is already inside.
- 2Single tube. One plain tube.
- 3Split tube. Splits into two ends at one side. That's how it's made.
- 4Clip. Comes flat. You'll bend it in Step 2.
- 5Spare cartridge (says “Cleaning Formula”). Put it away for later.

Put the dispenser together
Snap the clip onto the back.
Push the single tube onto the top.
Push the split tube onto the bottom.
Hang it inside the tank
Lift off the tank lid with both hands (it's heavy) and rest it on a towel.
Hold the dispenser inside the tank and bend the clip over the edge until it holds. It's soft, so you can't break it.
Take out the old thin hose
Find the thin hose in your tank. Look at where it starts and where it ends. Snap a quick photo so you remember.
Then pull it off at both ends and take it out. You won't need it again.
Put the new tubes where the old hose was
Single tube goes where the old hose started.
Split tube puts one end where the old hose ended. Let the other end hang free. That's supposed to happen.
Flush once to test
Leave the lid off and flush. Water should trickle out of the loose end. That means it's working.
Put the lid back gently. You're done!
Totally Normal
- A few drips from the top of the dispenser for the first 2–3 flushes.
- The water stays clear, with no blue color.
- A light lemon smell, nothing strong.
- A little less water in the bowl than before.
- Old stains fade slowly, over days to weeks.
Something Not Right?
Tap your problem.
No water comes out of the loose end
Push the single tube firmly back on where the old hose started, and straighten any bent tube.
The toilet keeps running
A tube is touching something that moves when you flush. Move it out of the way and flush again.
Water keeps spraying from the dispenser
A few drips at first are normal. If it's still spraying after 3 flushes, press the round cap on top and turn it until it won't turn any more. That fixes almost every case.
Still spraying? Email us a photo. A few cartridges have a faulty lock, and we'll replace yours free.
The bowl has a lot less water than before
Make sure the split tube's end is inside the tall pipe, not resting against the outside of it. Also check no tube got squashed when the lid went back on.
Still low? Email us a photo. A very low bowl can let smells in, and we can usually fix it from one picture.
A tube keeps slipping off
Dry the end and push it on further.
The lid won't sit flat
Check a tube isn't stuck under it, or slide the dispenser to a roomier spot along the tank wall.
The tubes are really long
That's so they fit every toilet. You can trim them with scissors, a little at a time.

Swap the Cartridge
Twist the old cartridge out of the top. If it's stiff, grip it with a dry cloth (never pliers).
Twist the new one in until it won't turn any more, then flush once. The dispenser stays where it is.
